My name is Edward F. Cervinski. I'm 36, and a current resident of St. Paul, MN where it rarely snows. Perhaps our motto could
be better shouted, "Minne-NO-snow-tah!" In high school, I ran Cross-Country and completed six 26.2 mile marathons before I
turned 19--my first one, at 14. See
photos of me.

I write mainly two types of works:
*Classical Music                *Sonnets

The Classical-style of music I compose are mainly works for organ and strings. Other than a few organ pieces I wrote for my
sister's 1993 wedding, I've not had any other public performance of my growing volumes of unpublished music. That may change
in the next year or so. From time to time, I will place excerpts of my music as a downloadable file. I'll make the first announcement
right here on my site.
I've recently completed a Concerto for Violin and Orchestra.

As for sonnets, it is said to be one of the most difficult forms of poetry to write. Fourteen lines. That's all you get...to say what
you want, concisely and clearly. I call it the perfect "Goldilocks" poem...Not too long, and not too short.

When I write, I
recognize but don't always follow rules, quite frankly, I don't like them. The only "real" rule that exists is the one
where "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." I like to take the bricks and mortars of some established form and make it my own.
Enhance it. Breathe new life into it. Give it a few fresh whirls of color and spice it up.

Hence came my first book,
Sonnets for a Soulmate, (officially published October 31, 2005). This book took over three years to
write and, in short, is a collection of more than 200 sonnets. This book is a romance novel, but written in rhyming verse. My
publisher,
Stellaberry Press is accepting Orders. Check out my Sneek Peek.

To have made my book a physical reality, I sought
Book Patrons to help with the book's production costs. I found them in the
most unusal places and thank each of them in my book. I am still accepting Patrons for the next edition.

I have two other books in the works right now.
Sonnets for a Little Girl (to be published tenatively in Mid-2006) and Requiem.
